Season of Color and Activity

It is now the end of summer and fall with its beautiful changing colors is just around the corner. We are now gearing up for several events to finish up the year.

September is a busy month with the How to Make Money in Landscaping seminar just ended, we look forward to the Channel Islands Chapter and Friends Fishing Trip on lucky Friday the 13th, The Landscape Expo September 18-19, and the NextGen Roundtable Discussion at Smith Pipe and Supply in Van Nuys on September 26.

For October we have two events. The first is a Rainwater Harvesting discussion at SiteOne in Torrance on October 10, led by Past LA/SGV President Mike Garcia. The second event is our annual SFV Auxiliary LEAF Scholarship Auction on October 24. Details TBD

In November you are all invited to attend the CLCA State Convention November 13-16 at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. There will be various classes and meet ups to learn and network with people from all over California, as well as the State Elections and Trophy Awards.

We will finish out the year with a Holiday Party and White Elephant Gift Exchange with the Channel Islands Chapter. Details TBD.
