Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving message begins with me saying thank you to all who were able to make it to the Los Angeles Rainwater Harvesting event in Torrance. Special thanks to SiteOne for hosting and for all their help. Thank you also to Mike Garcia, Past LA/SGV President who served as the evening’s speaker.

Many thanks also to those who attended our Auxiliary LEAF Fundraising Auction event in Northridge. The event raised $800 for the LEAF Scholarship Fund.

This month we are all now focused on the CLCA State Convention happening in Newport Beach November 13-16. If you have not already signed up and registered, please do so. This promises to be a great convention with many interesting and informative classes and seminars, and other activities.

Don’t forget that on December 7, we will be having our Dual Chapter Holiday Party and White Elephant Gift Exchange with members of the Channel Islands Chapter. The event will be held at the home of Rene and Wendy Emeterio in Santa Clarita. Reach out to me for more information.
