Thoughts and Prayers

It’s a new year but unfortunately it did not begin well for some of us. With the recent winds wreaking havoc through the city and causing multiple power outages we also have several fires raging all around us, with three of them in San Fernando Valley. Yes, we are right in the middle of it all.

This is the time we need to band together and lend a helping hand to those around us being affected. We also need to show our gratitude to those battling the fires as well as those working to bring back the power to our homes. And we send out our thoughts and prayers to all concerned.

So, let’s start this year by helping any way we can. If you have resources to help those devastated by the fire, let us know. There might be someone in our network that needs your help.

With all that’s happening around us, we are still planning our dual chapter installation of the SFV and Channel Islands boards on Thursday, January 23, at Yolanda’s Mexican Restaurant in Simi Valley. If anything changes, we will let you know.
